Now that the Supreme Court of California has legalized gay weddings, many couples are trying to figure out who would be the best person to perform their ceremony!

I know that some couples would like to get married in the same tradition they were raised in--yet because of the homophobic attitudes of many religious institutions, that's not always possible, or desirable.

You can always have a civil ceremony, of course. But some couples would really like a gay-friendly wedding that represents a genuine acceptance of your love, commitment, and beliefs.

Instead of banging on doors trying to find a gay-positive minister, now there's an alternative!

As a non-sectarian Minister (and gay officiant) of the all-accepting Universal Life Church, I can even conduct your wedding!

In celebration of gay marriage and this historic development, your very own Reverend Rik is now available to officiate at your Gay Wedding in San Francisco (and beyond!).

We'll develop a ceremony that celebrates your beliefs, values, love, and commitment! I can also help you create your own marriage vows. No pressure! You can read or recite your vows, or say what you feel in the moment--whichever you feel most comfortable with.
